* Take Lake Shore Drive north.
* Where Lake Shore Drives ends at the Sheridan Road and Hollywood Avenue intersection, turn right to go north on Sheridan.
* Take Sheridan Rd. north to South Blvd. in Evanston.
* Turn left onto South Blvd and proceed to Chicago Ave.
* Turn right onto Chicago Ave. and proceed north until Chicago Ave. becomes Sheridan Rd.
* Follow "Once you're on campus" directions

* Follow outbound traffic to get on the Tri-State Tollway (1-294) north and follow the "To Milwaukee" signs.
* Exit at Dempster east.
* At Potter Road (the first stoplight), turn left and follow Potter north one-half mile to Golf Road.
* Turn right at Golf and travel east approximately 10 miles to reach Evanston, where Golf becomes Emerson Street.
* Where Emerson ends at Sheridan Road, turn left to go north to Sheridan.
* Follow the Once you're on campus directions.

* Turn left out of the airport to go north on Cicero Avenue.
* Travel north for two miles to get on the Stevenson Expressway.
* Take the Stevenson Expressway (1-55) to Lake Shore Drive.
* From here, refer to the "From Chicago" directions.

via 1-94 (Edens Expressway)
* take I-94 south to Skokie Blvd
* follow southbound Skokie Blvd approximately 2 miles to Golf Rd
* turn left at the traffic light onto eastbound Golf Rd
* follow Golf Rd approximately four miles into Evanston (the road name changes to Emerson St in Evanston!)
* just past Maple St in Evanston is a fork in the road; bear to the right to go onto Clark St.
* follow Clark St through downtown Evanston.
* Clark St ends at Sheridan Rd.
* Follow "Once you're on campus" directions.

via 1-294 (the Tri-State Tollway)
* At Deerfield, 1-294 splits. Follow the "To Chicago" signs to get on the Edens Expressway (I-94, see above)
* Exit at U.S. 41 south. Continue south to Lake Avenue (the second stoplight).
* Turn left onto Lake and travel east for three miles to reach Sheridan Road.
* Turn right to go south on Sheridan
* Follow the "Once you're on campus" directions.

Once you reach the Chicago area, you want to get onto northbound I-94. Please make the following notes. If you are coming from:
* I-80/I-94: I-94 splits from I-80 and heads northbound south of Chicago
* I-57: I-57 ends at and merges into I-94 on the southside of Chicago
* I-90: I-90 merges with I-94 on the southside of Chicago

Once you are on northbound I-94:
* when I-94 splits from I-90, bear to the right, staying on I-94
* take I-94 north to Dempster St east
* follow Dempster St approximately five miles through the suburbs of Skokie and Evanston
* turn left onto northbound Chicago Ave.
* follow northbound Chicago Ave until it becomes Sheridan Rd.
* Follow "Once you're on campus" directions.

* take I-88, I-90 or I-190 eastbound until you reach northbound I-294 (heading toward Wisconsin)
* take I-294 north to Dempster St east
* follow Dempster St approximately ten miles through the suburbs of Des Plaines, Park Ridge, Niles, Morton Grove, Skokie and Evanston
* turn left onto northbound Chicago Ave.
* follow northbound Chicago Ave until it becomes Sheridan Rd.
* Follow "Once you're on campus" directions.

* if coming in on eastbound I-80, follow I-80 until the interchange with I-55; take northbound I-55
* follow northbound I-55 until the interchange with I-90/I-94; take northbound I-90/I-94
* when I-94 splits from I-90, bear to the right, staying on I-94
* take I-94 north to Dempster St east
* follow Dempster St east approximately five miles through the suburbs of Skokie and Evanston
* turn left onto northbound Chicago Ave.
* follow northbound Chicago Ave until it becomes Sheridan Rd.

* Take the Metra/Union Pacific North Line toward Kenosha
* Get off at Davis St, Evanston
* Make a left, turning east onto Davis St
* Walk one long block from Benson Ave to Orrington Ave
* Make a left, turning north onto Orrington Ave
* Walk two blocks to Clark St
* In front of you, on the north side of Clark St, will be the Rebecca Crown Center.
* Walk east on Clark and turn left onto Sheridan Rd.

* The 303 Cab Company, (847) 256-0303, and Northshore Cab Association, (847) 864-7500, offer set rates of about $25 to campus from O'Hare airport. From Midway, cab rates are about $45 to campus.
* Direct the cab to go to Noyes and Sheridan in Evanston, and follow the "Once you're on campus" directions.

The Ford Motor Company Engineering Design Center is located on the east side of Sheridan between Garrett Place and Haven Street, 2133 Sheridan Road. Turn onto Garrett Place or Noyes St.; there will be a parking lot directly to your right or left, across the street from the Ford Center. If you were given a parking permit, please rub off date of usage and display it by hanging from the rear view mirror (facing out). Be sure not to park in any posted reserved spots (or you'll be towed).

Enter front entrance of the Ford Center, and take either the stairs or elevator up to the 2nd Floor. Exit the elevator to the left and walk down the glass walkway to the end. Go through the door on the right and the MPD offices are to the left.
